The Roach Sandwich

This is Brickle. Did you place an order? Did you place an order for a sandwich and forget to pick it up? NO worries, I got it instead. I got your roach sandwich.
Today, we were at Girl Person’s Granny’s house. She is the one we love that is a little wrinkly like a Sharpei. Did I say that? I love her more than unwrinkled people. Why? Because she has a never ending supply of treats and stuff that we can’t order anywhere else. Today though, she didn’t know it, but I got a different type of treat....a roach sandwich.
Girl Person and Granny were talking and watching the news. I hate the news. Anyways, I saw out of the corner of my eye what I thought was a treat, so I put it in my mouth and it moved! It was a bug thing! Yuck! I hate bugs! Wait a minute! I will eat the bug! Yes, it is in my mouth, so I will eat it up! And you know what? I heard roaches in other places are delicacies and well, it was goooooood. Girl Person asked me what I was eating...and I hid the legs. Too late. She saw the legs! No way Girl Person. Wasn’t enough roach sandwich for the both of us. I will eat the legs too...tooooo bad for you! Get your own sandwich! Next time though, make my roach sandwich a foot long. And Granny? Don’t worry that there was a roach in your house...we know you are a clean lady! Um, are you hiding any roaches in your wrinkles by chance? Bahahahahahaha!

Too Friendly?!

This is Digby and once again, you persons have it all wrong. Brickle and I are not “too friendly”! What in the world is that all about?
Girl Person took us on a hike this morning and as usual, other furkids were trying to share the trail. I didn’t invite them, but it’s all good. So we were walking, and up comes this little Jack Russell character. He looked quite dapper and friendly and well, we wanted to play! So Brickle bowed to him in his distinguished Brickle way and I just jumped. Girl Person told the other wrinkly person that we were too friendly and although we meant no harm, she pulled us aside to let them pass. Girl Person told us that other dogs may not like other furkids, (what in the world), and that we had to be calm. Well, la de dah. I didn’t know being “too friendly” was a crime. Even Sheriff Brickle didn’t arrest me or give me a warning for this one, but I guess Girl Person did. I tell ya, I learn something new every day....too friendly....puleez.

The Treat Garden

This is Digby Pancake and I found out a secret today. The mystery is solved....
I have been watching Girl and Boy Persons in the yard. They dig holes and dig up dirt (like a dog I must say), and then they drop tiny seeds in the ground. They go out there every day and water and then all of a sudden...up comes food for them!!! They get all excited, they dig it up and then they cook it up! Sometimes me and Brickle get to taste it too if dogs can eat it. So I got to thinking, and I thought real hard...now how can I plant my own garden? What about a treat garden? So...
Do you know where I can get some pancake seeds? What about meatball seeds or peanut butter cookie seeds for Brickle? See, I am always thinking of Brickle, I am a nice brother that way. So I am going to ask Brickle how we can get to a seed store to buy these seeds. Maybe if we ask real nice, Girl Person will pull up those yucky onions and watermelons and make room for some pancakes! Can you imagine?!!! I would have enough pancakes for every day of the year if I took care of the garden. I am real good at digging.....

Oh Yes, Please Do Throw Up.

This is Peanut Butter Brickle and Digby told me I could do it. So I did it.
What did I do? Well, we went to the dog beach this weekend, and we were on the ride home when it hit me. That sicky Bricky feeling I get after I have drank salt water. Please save your lectures, I have heard them and I know you are right. When I am ready to get help, I will make the call to the support group.
Anyways, I tried to ignore the feeling, but I couldn’t. I tried to tell Girl Person by yanking on her seat belt, but she was busy driving which is also pretty important. So I looked at Digby and he said, “Brick, you gotta do what you gotta do. Please do throw up so you don’t look all weirdo sicko.” So I did it.
Girl Person just said, oh no and not again. I have heard those words before. Now let me just end this by saying I would be happy to clean it up if not for the fact that dinner was near and I don’t miss dinner. Also for the fact that I only have 4 paws, and it is going to take alot more than that to clean up the mess. Oh, and to the car next to us that started laughing, I don’t think that is very nice.

Outlaw Doorbells On TV

This is Peanut Butter Brickle and I believe there is a conspiracy. A conspiracy to get all dogs in trouble. And it starts with that black box called a TV and the sounds coming from it. It is ridiculous.
There we are, laying on the couch, minding our own business and RING DING RING DING!! So of course, that means ALARM ALARM ALARM GET THEM!
So we jump up like any normal dogs would and try to ambush whomever may be walking through our door. Then Girl and Boy Person say, “what in the world is going on?” and “come on guys, its the TV”. Well duh, I don’t care what or who it is, when we here that doorbell noise, it’s game on people. So please, stop getting us in trouble with your stupid commercials that no one listens to anyway and people ringing doorbells, especially pizza commercials. If you do not stop, I am going to file a complaint with the TV people. It is time. Time to outlaw all doorbells on TV. The furkids deserve that! Trickery!!!!!
